Two people with a passion for helping others.

Meet the team, Workplace Collective came to be after both Nikohl + Amber recognized that there was the lack of a One-Stop Shop style of bookkeeping + administrative services in the community. They want to help local businesses that struggle to find reliable workers to get the services of a full-time employee at freelance pricing. Both Nikohl + Amber know the struggles of running a small business and keeping up with the demands of life. So they set out to create a business that could support entrepreneurs dreams by following their passions while still running a solid business. 

Nikohl

Nikohl has over 20 years of valuable experience in the customer service industry, consistently excelling in management and administrative roles. She’s also worked in the telecommunications sector, insurance industry, and Early Childhood Education (ECE), which ultimately led her to finding an interest in accounting and bookkeeping.

Nikohl pursued bookkeeping courses and transitioned to become an adept administrative assistant during the COVID-19 pandemic. She skillfully managed all aspects of bookkeeping and administration for a smaller-scale service company. Implementing systems, organizing, and streamlining processes are just a few of her specialities. 

As a result of this diverse journey, Nikohl whole-heartedly believes in this visionary idea aimed at empowering numerous companies to unlock their full potential.

In her spare time, Nikohl loves spending time with her family and friends - she loves a good board game and can make an excellent sushi bake. 

Amber

Amber has spent the past 17 years as a professional Bookkeeper, Entrepreneur, and Consultant. Her lived experience as a business owner provided opportunities for growth and success and inevitably challenged her to overcome major obstacles. This ultimately shaped her into the exceptional professional she is today. 

Amber's expertise lies in delivering outstanding bookkeeping and administration services to small businesses, with a strong focus on non-profits and underserved communities. She understands the multitude of challenges faced by small businesses and is dedicated to their success. She is committed to helping small business owners achieve their goals and bring their visions to life.

Amber believes that the key to success lies in finding balance through innovative solutions, spending time with family and friends, staying organized, focusing on finding fulfilling hobbies (kayaking and mentoring young entrepreneurs is what fills her with joy) and embracing a sense of humor.
